honour to host and help organize the 9th International Conference on Behavioural and Social Computing (BESC
2022). I would like to extend my warmest greetings to all the attendees of this excellent event.
Matsuyama University aims to be a world-class multidisciplinary college with a significant positive impact on the region and
the world, in the fields of science, engineering, and technology. The interdisciplinary nature of this
conference is unique in terms of topics, organization team, and scientific committee. BESC synergizes fields
like AI, Digital Humanities, Design, and Psychology.
We look forward to seeing high-quality research results presented at the conference and to see the BESC 2022

Chair’s Welcome Message
On behalf of the steering committee of the International Conference on Behavioral and Social Computing
(BESC2022), I would like to express our gratitude to Matsuyama University for hosting
and supporting BESC 2022. This will be the first edition of this conference in Japan.
BESC has always been welcoming to new ideas and interdisciplinary research. Our committee includes
world-renowned researchers in AI, social networking, social and cyberpsychology, linguistics, and
human-computer interaction. We aim to receive quality contributions, and we are committed to providing the
best feedback and program to our BESC community.

The 9th International Conference on Behavioral and Social Computing (BESC 2022) will be a hybrid mode Conference, hosted by Matsuyama University, Japan, 29-31 October 2022. BESC conference aims to become a premier forum in which academic researchers and industry practitioners from artificial intelligence, computational social sciences, natural language processing, business and marketing, and behavioral and psychological sciences could present updated research efforts and progresses on foundational and emerging interdisciplinary topics of BESC, exchange new ideas and identify future research directions.

Journal Special Issues
Accepted papers will be submitted for inclusion into IEEE Xplore subject to meeting IEEE Xplore's scope and quality requirements. Top-quality papers will be selected for extension and publication in several special issues of international journals.
